Why get involved to help end slavery and support victums of modern-day slavery?

“I can’t make a difference, I’m just one person, what impact can I have?”

So often that’s what we feel like when it comes to human trafficking—there’s nothing we can do.

But we’re wrong. And Charles Ramsey has shown us that.

These past months, we’ve seen how one individual, Charles Ramsey, by following his instinct and responding to a person’s cry for help, did make a difference—an incredible difference—for 3 women who had been abducted and held in sex slavery for more than 10 years.

“I’m eating my McDonald’s, I hear this girl… ‘I’m stuck in here, help me get out’…

One man’s action—checking out something that just seemed off—became a huge rescue operation. He didn’t know what he was getting into—he thought it was domestic violence, nothing out of the ordinary, and he could have ignored it. But he didn’t. And that one action mesmerized a nation.

We know there are many victims of sex trafficking who are suffering right now. There are many who need rescuing. And once removed from a sex trafficking situation, these victims need specialized treatment so they can heal.

This is what Hope Village will provide: a safe place for child sex trafficking victims to recover, surrounded by loving, nurturing people. More than food, clothing, and shelter, Hope Village will include counseling and life skills, mentoring and, most of all, hope for a better future.

YOU can make a difference for these victims.

Just $10 a month makes a difference—that one thing YOU can do, giving monthly to The Hope Project, will make a difference to the girls who come to Hope Village. Please join our Guardians Club.

Are you willing to give up 2 lattes or 3 to 4 iTunes a month to help these girls?  Are you willing to give up 1 movie night a month?

You will give child victims of sex trafficking hope through your  support—hope that they can recover from the trauma they’ve experienced. Your monthly gift through the Guardians Club tells them that someone cares about them, someone has their best interests at heart—with no strings attached. No strings requiring them to dance to another’s tune. No beatings to avoid. No longer being subjected to unspeakable sexual abuse.

That’s why The Hope Project is dedicated to providing specialized treatment to these child victims. They deserve to have a childhood free of hurt and pain, free of emotional and sexual abuse, free of trauma. They deserve a childhood.

We cannot do this alone. We need YOU to help us fight child sex trafficking. We believe it takes a village to raise a child—please be part of our village to give these young girls back their lives.

With your help, these girls can regain their self-confidence, learn to develop trusting relationships with healthy boundaries, and be empowered to become the person they are meant to be. By joining our Guardians Club, YOU are part of Hope Village, a home where the girls can become part of a family, a place for them to regain their innocence, to find themselves, and to begin healing.

You can join Hope Village by sending a Guardians Club membership gift of just $10. By sending your gift today, you will help create a better future for child victims of sex trafficking.
